Eligibility Guidelines:

Patients who are uninsured and whose incomes fall within 185% of the federal poverty level.

Patients' must apply to become a patient at the free clinic. Eligibility applications are processed on the first Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Applications can be picked up at the clinic on Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. However, we ask that you call the clinic in advance at 423-256-2408 to make sure someone is in the office.
Clinic Schedule: The clinic is open on the second, third and fourth Tuesday evenings of each month from 5 – 8:30 p.m. Doctors start seeing patients at 6 p.m. Please see attached schedule (English version) for more details. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis, limited to the first 25 patients.
Cost for Services: A $5 donation is requested, but not required.

Eligibility:

Patient must be a resident of Sullivan, Hawkins or Scott county.

A member of the applicants immediate household must be working on a regular schedule, and be able to provide documentation to verify. (ie: recent paystubs showing year to date gross income, most recent W2 from employer, copy of previous years tax return, Schedule C from tax return if self employed, etc…)

For medical services, the individual must not have any existing medical insurance (TennCare, Medicaid, etc).

RAM Clinic is a free clinic. University of VA Health System to offer medical, dental, and vision care to the patient in Southwest Virignia. This is the only free clinic in Southwest Virignia. Other Clinics in the healthsytems offer payment programs.
